Language Lab Technology:

Any classroom can be instantly converted to a language classroom using Educational Media's unique tray design.

The language lab trays are easily stored near the ceiling and then lowered with the touch of a button at the teacher’s console.

How our lab works:

The Educational Media Lab (sometimes called a learning lab or tray lab) includes a computer controlled teacher console and drop down overhead headset trays that are stored close to the ceiling. When the instructor wishes to use the lab, a click on the teacher screen will lower the student overhead trays to the students’ desk level. The students reach into the tray, remove their headsets, and lab work can begin. There is nothing to pass out and no classroom disturbances because students do not need to leave their seats. Standard configurations are for 24, 32, or 36 students.
